MUSIC/SPACE/TIME is a personal reflection on the relationship between music and the human experience. It acknowledges the influence music has on our lives and serves as a container for the inherently and possibly musical. The project invites the viewer to reflect on their own relationship with music, and consider it as we do space and time — as part of the framework of our existence.

The outcomes of this project consist of two separate but complementing forms: a book and a video. The book is a collection of personal essays, references, and visual media that explore my relationship with music. The essays drift through stories, memories, thoughts, and theories. Philosophical, psychological, and theoretical references bring further depth and analysis to topics such as nostalgia, adolescence, and perception. The video offers a cinematic presentation of the project's central idea: that music accompanies us through space and time, shaping narrative and structure as it guides us from one moment to the next.
